General Dentistry

Dental Cleanings

Dental cleanings are professional treatments performed by a dentist or dental hygienist to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from your teeth. Regular cleanings help prevent tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral health issues.

Oral Hygiene Care

Maintaining good oral hygiene is essential for healthy teeth and gums. Healthy teeth not only improve your appearance and confidence but also help you eat and speak properly. Good oral health also supports your overall well-being. Practicing daily preventive care, such as brushing and flossing regularly, helps prevent dental problems before they start.

Sealants

Dental sealants are used to protect teeth by sealing the narrow grooves and pits that are difficult to clean with regular brushing. These tiny grooves can trap plaque and bacteria, increasing the risk of cavities. A dentist or hygienist applies a thin protective coating over the tooth surface, which seals these areas and helps prevent decay by making the teeth easier to keep clean.

Fillings

A dental filling is used to restore a tooth damaged by decay and return it to its normal shape and function. The dentist removes the decayed portion of the tooth, cleans the area, and fills the cavity with a durable filling material. This helps protect the tooth and prevents bacteria from causing further decay.

Crowns & Bridges

Dental crowns and bridges are restorative treatments used to repair or replace damaged or missing teeth. These solutions help restore the strength, function, and appearance of your smile.

Root Canal Treatment

A root canal treatment is a procedure used to save a tooth that has become infected or severely damaged. During the treatment, the dentist removes the infected pulp inside the tooth, carefully cleans and disinfects the root canals, and then fills and seals the space to prevent further infection.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a long-lasting solution for replacing one or more missing teeth caused by injury, gum disease, or other issues. The procedure involves placing a small metal post into the jawbone by a dentist or specialist. After the implant heals and integrates with the bone, a custom replacement tooth is attached to the post.

Teeth Whitening

Tooth whitening is a popular procedure to make teeth whiter and brighter, and therefore more attractive. Bleaching can be used to whiten stained and discolored teeth, or simply to enhance a dull smile. Either way, tooth whitening is a safe and relatively painless procedure ideal for most patients. Our office offers two methods of whitening: in-office whitening and tray whitening.

Veneers

Veneers are a dental procedure in which a covering is placed over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are usually only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or smiling.

The advantage of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the procedure is generally less uncomfortable.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is a cosmetic procedure where a tooth-colored composite resin is applied to the front of a tooth to repair damage, improve alignment, close gaps, or enhance the appearance of your smile.

During the procedure, the tooth surface is gently roughened and treated with a conditioning gel to help the material bond securely. A bonding agent is then applied, followed by the composite resin, which is shaped to the desired form and hardened with a special light. Finally, the material is polished to create a smooth, natural-looking finish.

Dentures

A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. There are two types of dentures available, including partial and complete dentures. Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain, while complete dentures are used to completely replace all teeth. Dentures are made to resemble your natural teeth so there should be no noticeable change to your appearance. In fact, dentures may even improve your smile!

Dental Technology & Diagnostics

Paperless Charting

Our office operates as a fully digital (paperless) dental practice, meaning all X-rays and patient charting are recorded electronically using advanced computer technology. This allows us to securely store and manage your dental records while reducing the need for traditional paperwork.

Digital charting ensures consistency and accuracy, eliminating issues that can occur with handwritten records or varying charting styles. It makes your dental information clear, easy to read, and always up to date. This system also allows us to provide more precise care and, when necessary, securely share important information with other healthcare providers.

X-Rays & Digital X-Rays

Dental X-rays use a focused beam of radiation to create images of the teeth, bones, and surrounding tissues. These black-and-white images help dentists detect problems such as infections, decay, or other conditions that cannot be seen during a regular dental exam.

Our office uses digital radiography, which requires up to 90% less radiation than traditional film X-rays. A small sensor is placed in your mouth to capture detailed images that are instantly sent to a computer. This technology provides clear, high-quality images that can be enhanced for more accurate diagnosis and better treatment planning.

Telescopic Loupes

Telescopic loupes are specialized magnifying glasses worn by dentists to provide a clearer and more detailed view of your teeth and gums during dental procedures. They allow the dentist to see small details that may not be visible to the naked eye.

Using telescopic loupes helps improve accuracy and precision during treatments, leading to better diagnosis and more effective dental care while ensuring the highest level of attention to detail.
