Meet Our Team
Dr. Steven Alban
DDS
Bio
After three years of studying for a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, Dr. Alban was accepted to dental school. He graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1999.
After earning his dental degree, Dr. Alban participated in a hospital residency program at Christiana Care hospital in Wilmington, DE. He has practiced privately in Delaware since 2000 and in Milford since 2005. His practice serves patients from Kent and Sussex Counties, including Felton, Lincoln, Milton, Harrington, Houston, DE.
Dr. Alban is an attending dentist with the Christiana Care General Dental residency program, and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Delaware State Dental Society, and the Kent-Sussex Dental Society, too.
Besides practicing dentistry, he enjoys playing board games, reading, listening to music, playing the oboe, and English horn.
Cherie
Dental Hygienist
Bio
Cherie graduated from the Del. Tech. Hygiene Program in 1993. She has been with the practice since completing school. She worked for Dr. Hendel for 12 years prior to Dr. Steve’s purchase of the practice. Cherie is married and the proud mother of three children.
Tammy
Bio
Tammy graduated from the Del. Tech. Hygiene Program in 1992. She volunteers regularly at the Hope Clinic in Dover. She is married and has 2 sons. Tammy enjoys crafts, reading, spending time with her family and is active in her church. Tammy has been working for Dr. Steve since he bought the practice in 2005, having previously worked for Dr. Hendel. She enjoys talking to people and being part of a great dental team.

Chrissie
Bio
Our office manager, Chrissie, joined the practice in 2021. She is originally from Pennsylvania, where she was in specialty dentistry for 9+ years as a surgical dental assistant and a schedule coordinator. Her overall goal is to ensure that all patients have a smooth, positive experience from start to finish in our office. Outside of the office, Chrissie and her family are busy exploring all the good things Delaware has to offer. They enjoy the beach, hiking, and spending time together.
Vickie
Bio
Vickie, born and raised in CA, and moved to DE in 2017 and went from eating In-N-Out Burger to eating Cheesesteaks. She has been involved in the Dental field, for 35 years. Vickie joined our team in 2022. She is married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren and loves to spend her time fishing, visiting family and exploring beautiful Delaware.
Kurt
Bio
Kurt is a Delaware native with family ties to Dover AFB. The first 15 years of his working career many roles in the restaurant industry. His biggest achievement was being coined as a civilian by Dover’s Air Mobility Command Leader in 2011 for his volunteer work with the USO. In 2020 he made the decision to switched into healthcare. He has experience in
both oral surgery and general dentistry. In his down time, he enjoys swimming, beach days, and traveling to see family.
Maria
Bio
Maria was born in Maryland, but moved to Delaware in 2004. She graduated from Polytech High School in 2012 and completed her dental assisting program in 2019. Outside of the office Maria enjoys bike riding, photography and traveling.
Tracy
Dental Assistant
Bio
Tracy is a Delaware native. She graduated from Harris School for Dental Assisting in 2011, and has been in the dental field ever since. When not helping people love their smile, she enjoys live music, camping, kayaking, and her animals.
